Vintage 9 1/4 inch Plane (w/ “wavy” perimeter blade adjuster) and “U”–Made USA

Neat little plane, measures 9 1/4 from front to back with a 1 3/4 inch blade usage. Folks that “know planes” will know what the circle with a U means (such is stamped above the “Made in the USA”) and more about the unique shape of the blade adjuster, the year it was made, etc. Pretty handle, no cracks but some wobble. This is a Stanley No. 4 Bench Plane No. 12-904 that is Contractor Grade, Made in England. It has the original box and the fold out brochure with it. It is smooth bottom and has some white paint on the bottom which I will let the new owner remove as so desired. The blade has cutting edge of 2″ and is marked Stanley Made In England 25 degree angle for grinding. It has been used but very little. Buyer to pay s/h calculated in USA via priority mail.
