Old hammer. Unbranded. Good condition for its age, see pictures for signs of wear. It appears to have been hand forged to be used as either a slate hammer and/or battle hammer. It has a wide grip wooden handle with a metal sleeve to protect and reinforce the handle and head. The construction does not appear to be design for snow/ice, but it does have some characteristics of a snow knocker. Weighs 14.3 oz with handle on. Handle measures at 15”. Head measures at just under 4 1/4”

There is a makers mark symbol but I do not know the brand associated with it. It is used so shows wear but still structurally good with nice used look and condition. I have no knowledge of tools so please ask questions if you have them. Size – 13″L x 3.75″ x 1.25″ Total weight 18 ounces If you need your item shipped with a particular carrier let me know. Vintage Magnetic Tack Hammer Upholstery Hammer Narrow Metal with Wood Handle

Vintage tack hammer, normally used for upholstery tacking. Hammer is 11″ long and head is 4″ across. Head ends are approx. 7/16″ wide. Hammer has quite a bit of wear, but handle wood is smooth. Any brand or markings have worn off. Claw end opening has narrowed from age. Paint worn off on head. No rust. Hammer is still very functional.

Vtg American Beauty 15oz Claw Hammer Head Forged Tool

For your consideration is a vintage 15oz claw hammer head marked American Beauty *. It weighs 15oz and appears to be a nicely made, forged steel piece. I like and pay attention to old hammers but I’ve never seen an American Beauty before. A quick google search says it was sold by American Hardware & Supply Company and was likely made by one of the big manufacturing companies. While that may or may not be true, this is a nice looking hammer head. It shows no sign of excessive use or abuse. I gave it quick wire-wheeling to clean off the light rust it had on it. The handle it was on was shot / destroyed so I removed it to reduce shipping cost. This is a nice quality hammer head. Thank you for your interest.

Vintage Warren 1 1/2 lb Blacksmithung cutoff hammer with wooden handle. The hammer is stamped Warren 162 1 1/2 and Warning wear safety goggles. The original wood handle is still intact with pin. There is a split at the head of the handle approximately 3 Inches long, will need to be repaired or replaced before use. The hammer has some blue and red paint present.
