EXCELLENT STANLEY SWEETHEART No.8 TYPE 14 1929 -1930 CORRUGATED SOLE PLANE. The sole was hand lapped & the edge’s relieved to enhance planes performance. All lapping is done on a large granite slab My opinion the only way to do it right.

The handle has the nickeled finish. This would be the later variation of the Type One. The Number 14 was made from 1884 to 1935, in two styles or types, and the original japanned finish was changed to a nickeled finish after 1909.

Early 14″ Brass backed Tenon saw by Buck, London.

This Tenon saw was made by Buck of London, around the 1830’s. Stamped with the earliest mark of Buck, and early style handle with small nuts. Handle is tight to the saw, and in good condition, chip to lower horn.

Two Stanley No. 18 Nickel Plated Bevel Squares Pat. 7-14-08

The plating is flaking off the smaller one. The larger one has the screw head broken off. Very early both have Pat.7-14-08 on them.
