Over the past couple of years, I have been tasked with going through my parent’s and grandparent’s possessions – two separate households with items spanning their whole lives. This has been a long, arduous process and will take many years to complete. I will be listing a variety of items – some of which I know the story behind and others I simply haven’t a clue! With each and every item, I try to supply as much detail as I can whether it is from my recollection / memories, internet research, or by matching it up with other pieces I have found. Each item tells a story for which I am grateful to now be able to document as a way of keeping some of the history of my family which is now gone. I wish I could keep a lot of it but I haven’t the room. I will do my absolute best to describe the item as I can. If I overlook a defect or if for some reason you feel that the item is not as described, please let me know. I will do my best to make things right! Thank you in advance for helping me with this overwhelming task.
