Vintage Billings & Spencer Company open-end wrench, model No. 1575. Marked “The Billings & Spencer Company Hartford, Connecticut U.S.A.” Features dual sizes with one end marked “3/4 OC” (opening capacity) and the other marked “5/8” along with “USS,” indicating sizing for U.S. Standard (coarse thread) fasteners. Forged steel construction with classic early industrial profile. General wear from age and use including surface wear, pitting, and oxidation. Markings are present but show wear.
