The plane is in good condition for the era, the plane has been lightly cleaned, I don’t believe the blade was sharpened much,…. japanning has several spots that has flaked off,…. This is the type 13 with SW (sweet heart) iron version made only from 1925 to 1928 with one PAT date.

Vintage Stanley Bailey 5C Corrugated Type 13 (1925-1928) Plane. Blade is marked, “Stanley Rule & Level New Brittan, Conn”. One patent date. Rosewood handles. Measures 14” long. Tiny chip in the lever cap. Chunk of wood missing out of the bottom of the front tote knob. Small chips front and rear of the tote and mouth. The adjustment lever seems loose and unconnected. Japanning is approximately 90-95%. Other than the missing piece, the handles are very nice. Age related wear, scuffs, scratches, chips, finish loss, etc. A great addition to your collection.
