The axe head is hand forged at the historic Hults Bruk, a forge that has been in operation since 1697. Each axe is made from high-quality Swedish axe steel, expertly tempered to hold a very sharp edge even after repeated sharpening. Painted iconic Agdor blue, sharpened ready to use. This was labeled as an Arrow brand anvil from the estate sale where it was purchased, but I cannot find any markings on it, so that’s not a guarantee. It matched an Arrow anvil that is currently listed on ebay, and the shape is similar, but without any identifying stamps, I’m listing it as unbranded. It weighs 1.4 lbs. Measures 2.5″ tall and is 3 3/4″ wide. It has a little rust on it, so it needs to be conditioned. Please notice the extra metal around the seam.
