Bronze weight, with threaded head.- The weight is pear-shaped, 10.5 cm high, 5 cm in diameter and 447 gr.- The body of the weight is made of bronze with an iron tip.- A chiselled band can be seen on the body and head of the weight.- The iron tip has a horizontal channel that covers the entire perimeter. It is made by hand, probably with a flat file and its purpose is unknown.- No distinguishing mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on the place where it was made, information on the manufacturer and information on its characteristics.- Very good and beautiful patina is preserved throughout the Plumb bob.- The quality of the bronze casting, and of the execution of the Plumb bob, is very good.- The plumb bob is probably made in Southern Europe.
