Early Large Antique Iron Gate Lock Key 6 inches long,

Let your imagination run wild. What was this Key used for? Was it for a jail cell? Was it for a castle door? Church? What about an ancient fort? Was it the gun powder room? I have no idea. I just know that it is extremely cool, heavy and 6 inches long. Be sure to check out my other auctions as I have three other huge skeleton keys. This one is the most uniformly and well made, my best guess is mid 1800’s.

For sale is a fine antique steel interior caliper by the Union Tool Co.. The piece is 6 inches long. It has tapered arms with outcurved tips, a round spring tip and a fine screw adjustment. It is marked “UNION TOOL CO. / ORANGE, MASS. USA” as shown Condition on the piece is fairly good, with just some surface rust and regular wear from use. A fine old tool!
