Vintage Stanley X226 80” (72”) 6’ Four Way Folding Extension Wood Ruler + Lufkin

MADE IN USA! 🇺🇸 Vintage Stanley X226 80” (72”) 6’ Four Way Folding Extension Wood Ruler + Lufkin. The Stanley is practically new and has an 8” brass sliding extension which brings the total length to 80 inches. The Lufkin has a 6” slider which allows up to 78 inches. The slider is kinda stuck on the Lufkin. I’m sure it just needs a little lube to get it moving. I just don’t feel like messing with it. Both rulers fold fine but the Lufkin has some rusty metal joints. The Stanley appears to have had very little use. Some of the paint is flaking off on the edges. Besides that it’s pretty nice. Still brightly colored and legible. The Lufkin looks like it has done a lot of carpentry work in its life. Both belonged to my grandfather who was a carpenter. See photos.
