The date code on this makes it a 1951 model! This universal joint is in great shape and has both the spring ball friction retainer AND a positive locking pin. You will need to depress the pin to put a socket on it and also if your socket has a hole in it, and the spring pin goes into that hole, you will need to depress it thru the socket hole to get your socket off.
