Stanley No. 9-1/4 vintage cast iron block plane made in the USA. “No. 9 1/4” is cast into the body and “STANLEY” is cast into the toe. This is a non-adjustable mouth block plane, 6 inches long with a 1-5/8 inch blade, bedded bevel-up at 20 degrees. Features brass depth adjustment wheel at the heel and a brass front finger rest knob. Blade, lever cap, and all hardware are present. Suitable for end grain work, fitting joints, and general light planing. Cosmetically rough — heavy japanning loss on lever cap and sole rust — but complete. Good candidate for a quick cleanup and user service.
