I am offering for sale this Fine User Vintage A. Mathieson Glasgow 5/8″ Double Bead Rabbet Plane Inv#AU89 This is a fine A.W. Mathieson 5/8″ double bead rabbet moulding plane. The name is on the toe. On the heel there is 5/8. The plane has some scratches & scars from use and toolbox, it still has has a fine finish, feel and patina. The plane measures 9-3/8″ L. x 1-3/8″ W. The wedge is original, still tight and secure. The skewed cutter measures 7-5/8″ L x 5/8″ W. It has some pitting and I always suggest sharpening for optimal performance. This plane is in good condition right out of woodworkers lifelong tool collection.Photos are representative of item offered, please review photos and written descriptions carefully.
