An ORIGINAL CAST ALUMINUM HANDLE for a Stanley No. 4 1/2, 6 or 7 bench plane by STANLEY. This handle is cast with the Stanley name on one side and the designation “Made in U.S.A.” on the other. It is in excellent condition and could be put directly to use. The original threaded rods and brass nuts to secure the handle and knob to the plane body are included as well. Sand casting aluminum pattern for elements- did thousands of pieces in bronze and aluminum who were sold though Nordstrom, Gumps, Bloomingdales, etc – foundry moved away so i do not make them anymore – about 14″ x 27″ – can be use as decorative elements – did some for Skewers handle – looks great on wall – thought about using it to make a coffee table but never got around it – few more patterns, about same sizes, available.
