Vintage Montgomery Ward Wards Master Quality Camp Style Embossed Hatchet

This is a vintage embossed camp style hatchet that is marked on one side of head — Wards Master Quality. This Montgomery Ward hatchet I think has the original handle but it looks like the green might have been repainted as there is a run. The head has some of the original finish on it and in the pictures where it is coming off looks like scratches but that is just discoloration. The cutting edge is 3 1/8″ and the head measures 5 1/4″ tall. There is some mushrooming. The handle is 13 1/2″ long. I would call it very nice condition. Buyer to pay s/h calculated in USA . Vintage Army/Camp Craftsman Hatchet Axe w/ Green Handle

Payment would be appreciated within 24 hours after the listing ends. We ship to the United States only. Item Description: This auction is for an old used hatchet or small axe. It is marked Craftsman on the head near the back. It measures 13.75″ from the bottom of the handle to the top of the head. The head has been well used and has heavy finish wear and some tarnish. You can also see that the blunt end has been used as a hammer as it has numerous dents and dings. The handle is green and there are some paint wear spots here and there. The end of the handle is carved with “Moore III” (see last pic). Please take a look at all of the pictures for condition. This was purchased with a military trunk with the guy’s gear.
