I am offering for sale this Good User Bensen & Crannel, Albany, NY 5/8″ Side Bead Woodworking Molding Plane INV#AU85 This is a Bensen & Crannel, Albany, NY., 5/8″ Side Bead woodworking molding plane. The name is on toe. On the heel there is 5/8″. The plane has some hairlines, nicks & scars from use and toolbox, it has a fine finish, feel and patina. NOTE:The original wedge has a piece off the top….& the back half of the boxwood bead on sole is missing…(see photos). The plane measures 7-1/4″ L. x 1-1/2″ W. The wedge is original, still tight and secure. The cutter measures 6-7/8″ L x 5/8″ W. It has some pitting but it is extremely sharp. I always suggest sharpening for optimal performance. It is in good condition right out of woodworkers lifelong tool collection.Photos are representative of item offered, please review photos and written descriptions carefully.
