Vintage Belknap Blue Grass Adze-Label Stamped in Casting-9.5inches long-3 lb-10oz–Appears to be unused–Vintage and a great tool from the Belknap tool line.–Bluegrass Stamped into the casting–The blade is 3-1/2 inches long-The hammer end is approx. 1-5/8 by 1-5/8″–The handle slot depth is 2-3/4″ ( 2-1/8×1-5/16 at bottom) & ( 1-7/8×1-1/16″ at top)–The rough marks on side of the casting are tong marks from the factory. Beautiful tool for collectors-like new and rare to find in this condition.

This is a vintage embossed single bit ax axe of Belknap Hardware Co Blue Grass. It has the small logo very legible on top of one side. The other side has a lot of the original paper label on it. The paint is all original. The handle is 35″ long. The head measures 7 3/4″ across with a cutting edge of 5″. It is in very good condition. Buyer to pay shipping calculated in USA. The blade is marked with inch measurements, showing numbers “1” through “4” and a “BLUE GRASS” brand stamp. The handle has a carved finger groove and is secured to the blade with brass metal plates and screws.
