huge antique metal ship’s heel block, 12 in. sheave, Boston & Lockport Block Co

Vintage cast metal heel block or derrick heel block, likely for a cargo ship though out here it could have been used on a whaler, this is a Boston & Lockport Block Company number 216, tested to 20 Tons with a SWL of 5 tons. It’s a single 12 inch sheave in there and the whole thing measures about 25 inches from top to bottom and 13 inches or more wide. It spins and it’s weight is about 75-77 pounds. Has a couple stars on it for design so likely is part of their Star Brand line from the 1920s or so. This weighs over 75 pounds so the only real shipping option will be UPS and if you are in Alaska or Hawaii, sorry, I can’t get it to you as shipping would be over $300 and I couldn’t afford that. We will pay for shipping on this into the United States. No international please.
