VINTAGE STANLEY BENCH PLANE IRON FITS No.3 & 5 1/4 & No.20 NEW OLD STOCK 1 3/4″ USA CARPENTER SEE DETAILED PICTURES BELOW HERE IS A TRULY REMARKABLE FIND A STANLEY  PLANE IRON NEW OLD STOCK THE STORE I AQUIRED IT FROM WAS VERY OLD I FOUND IT BOUNCING AROUND IN A DRAWER WITH OTHER OLD STOCK PLANE PARTS. MY RESEARCH TELLS ME IT SHOULD FIT THESE  PLANES  No. 3  No.5 1/4  & THE No.20 IT MAY FIT OTHERS BUT I AM NOT SURE THE IRON IS MARKED “STANLEY MADE IN THE USA” IRONS LENGTH IS 7 1/4″ AND WIDTH IS 1 3/4″ AND ABOUT 1/16″ THICK I AM A CABINETMAKER / TRIM CARPENTER SO I AM A USER NOT A COLLECTOR IT STILL HOLDS IT ORIGINAL FACTORY EDGE AND IS SHARP,  WAX PAPER IS WRAPPED AROUND IT OF COURSE THE EDGE NEEDS TO BE HONED TO YOUR LIKING THIS IS A VERY OLD IRION I WOULD GUESS 1960’S BUT I AM NOT EXACTLY SURE ANY QUESTIONS JUSTASK GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING
