The Custom Made Socket # 7 / 48mm Straight Carving Gouge is a vintage original wood chisel from Vermont, USA. This collectable item is a high-quality carving tool perfect for woodworking enthusiasts and collectors. I spin, sand, stain, poly and set the hoop on the handles. Once forged I shine, sharpen and then set the socket. Size may slightly vary + 1 – 1 because each forged piece is a hand made original and not machine made.

Vintage 5/8″ Marples 1945 British Army Bevel Edged Marples Dovetail Chisel Long!

Nice long 5/8″ bevel dovetail chiael. So this is not specifically marked Marples. However most of the British Army chisels were made by marples. This has the standard “broad arrow” “crow foot” 1945 marking on the back. This is very long and in overall good condition.
