Vintage Cochran-Sargent Co. – Capitol Brass Works Altitude Boiler Gauge
For sale is this vintage Cochran-Sargent-Capitol Brass Works altitude boiler steam pressure gauge. Capitol Brass Works (CBW) from Detroit Mich. most likely made this gauge for Cochran-Sargent Co. which was located in St. Paul, Minnesota. They started to operate in business in 1909. Not sure what year the business dissolved. I have had this gauge for several years and have not found another one like it. The gauge has a diameter of just over 5 in. The gauge is 2 in. thick. The gauge is in very good condition. The body has been painted previously and could use a restoration. The glass and face is in very good to excellent condition.
