Vintage Diamond Tools Pick Mattock – Pick/Adze Blade – Duluth, MN 49 in. Long

Up for sale is this rare Diamond brand pick mattock. Comes with the handle. Not sure if the handle is the original. Does fit nicely. The handle is 49 in. long. It’s a little chewed up at the end but the wood is still in very good condition. I love these types because its so easy to replace the handle if need be. You just grab the pick and mattock and jam it on the ground and it will slide off easily. Great for storage and travel. The mattock weighs 4 lbs., 13 oz. The total length is 17 in. The blade measures 3 1/4 in. The inside of the eye measures 2 3/4 in. x 1 3/4 in. On the blade it has the horse shoe logo, Diamond spelled out inside the diamond and it also reads “Duluth U.S.A.” The overall condition is very good. I did a light cleaning and Fluid Film was applied. Fluid Film is a non-toxic, lanolin based rust and corrosion preventative.
