Antique D.R. Barton drawknife stamped “D.R. Barton, Rochester NY.” Blade measures approximately 14 inches with overall length of about 21.5 inches. Tool retains original dark patina with visible age and use consistent with a 19th-century edge tool. Blade is missing handles. There is a small crack in the metal near one tang; tool is sold as-is and unaltered. Additional factory markings include a skewed “V” symbol and numeric stamp that appears to read “12” (possibly I2 or L2). No aggressive cleaning performed — original surface and patina preserved. Antique D.R. Barton Rochester NY 1832 woodworking 1/2” chisel. Chisel handle is octagonal and chewed up a bit, there is a crack at the base. Small chip at tip of blade (pics 7 and 8). I have had trouble finding a picture of a similar handled chisel from Barton, the handle may be a replacement. Any experts out there can message me and let me know.
