Vintage Henry Disston & Sons, D-23, 8 TPI Straight Cross Cut Hand Saw 26″. Blade has lite-scratches, and marks, from normal use. Saw has been well taken care of. The writing on blade is faded, but it is readable. Saw has wonderful patina. Original wood handle, has scratches, and marks, from normal use. One of the ears has a crack, pictures will show. Somebody glued it back on. All pins are in good condition. The logo pin has a bigger recessed hole than the pin itself. Even with the logo pin being smaller than the recessed hole, and the cracked ear. The Henry Disston Saw, is in very good used condition. Good Luck, Sweet Piece. From The Clint Dunn Collection. THE PICTURES ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION SO LOOK CAREFULLYHere is a nice old hand saw marked Henry Disston & Sons D-23 in good usable condition. The tool has a 26″ blade filed 10 point crosscut and it is fairly sharp and straight and cuts as shown. Lots of bright metal with a few dark spots and a fully readable etch. The wood handle has lots of finish and just the usual wear marks for a saw of this age. Should tune up to be a good user and provide years of good service. ~ D23-99- old little iron SMELTING POT w/INSERT ~ size 6? This cast iron smelting pot measures about 4 3/4” wide x 3 1/2”h with a top opening diameter of 3 9/16”. It has what looks like a numeral six (or letter G). It has an insert with a porcelain lining.Both pieces have some superficial rust. There is wear to the porcelain. The bail handles are a bit bent.
