The Vintage Davis Level & Tool Co. Machinists Cast Iron Level is a rare and antique tool with a 24″ size and a patent dating back to 1867. Made in the United States, this collectible level is a piece of history for woodworking enthusiasts and collectors alike. The only damage to the level is found on the corners of the flat sides as shown in the pictures. No other damage or repairs are present. The level bubble is intact and the angle ring moves freely.

Davis level Co Inclinometer tool,patented, early example sept B17, 1867 as it says level tool, before the later spirit level. The level is in good condition commensurate with age, it does have a small loss of cast on the back corner which can be seen in the pics,the level glass is intact with its bubble present, turns as it should in the frame for different angles, two tiny screws missing from the dial.
