VINTAGE ERTL DE LAVAL 9 LIVES CAT CREAM SEPARATOR DIE CAST #17039 LOWELL DAVIS For sale is a vintage Ertl De Laval “9 Lives” cream separator. This is a little collectible item #17039 and titled “Nine Lives” by Lowell Davis. It was manufactured in 1998 by the Ertl Co. This is not a working separator- but is a model of a large De Laval cream separator. This separator measures approx. 7 1/2″ tall. The black cat stands on the base and its paws have to be glued back in the grooves in the base . The back left paw sits on a little rock next to the sack of potatoes. The black stand is very heavy and appears to be cast iron. There is a crank handle that turns a wheel also. I am selling this “as is”. This item is vintage and has some age and wear. It is stamped on one side with 34250. On the other side is stamped 25 H. 1 1/2 De Laval I don’t know what the 1 1/2 refers to.
