The piece is marked on both sides of main shaft DM Lyons & Co. The beam is wood approx. 6-1/8″ long (not including the top brass screw set, with the screw it is 7-1/2″ long), BY 5/8″. The block shaped sleeve (with arched 2 sides) has brass screw that will stop the block along the shaft and hold it in places.
