Vintage E.C. Stearns? Raker Gauge Patent Sept 8 1903- Mar 28 1911 Preowned

this is a used preowned and pretty vintage i believe to be E.C. Stearns? raker gauge.the patent date on the tool is Sept 8th 1902-Mar 28th 1911.there is wear on this tool for sure.there is obvious rust, pitting and grime throughout all sides of the tool.the backside adjustment screw is bent slightly and the nut is seized onto the screw.the adjustment screw head also has wear from being turned several times.the holes for the adjustment screw are expanded somewhat so the screw is a little loose.there are also some nicks, dings, scuffs and scratches throughout the tool.i based this listing off of someone elses who i believe had a good idea what they were doing.to be honest this is the first one i have ever seen.i do not see a company name stamped into this tool.a stated before this is a preowned used raker gauge with plenty of age and wear.thank you for looking at this listing.
