Antique 1780s British Extra Large Heavy Iron & Brass Padlock 4 Lb 7 Oz. I’d like to offer for your consideration this very nice, heavy iron padlock in working condition. I believe it’s from a King George III era (1760-1820) but it’s not marked by the manufacturer. Please, enlarge the pictures from your desktop computer to see better every little detail. Lamson was established in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts in 1837. Manufacturer: Lamson. Left-hand and Turner styles and 3″ x 6″ and 20″ sizes are selectable above. Early 1900s Extra Large 12″ Farm Agriculture 3 Arm Hand Forged Grappling Hook

This hook is from a family farm southwest of Webster Wisconsin. This is one of many items that were in small shed being demolished. This particular grappling hook has a pure agriculture background and was used mainly for harvesting crops. It is much larger than most measuring approx. 12″ in every direction. These hooks were almost always made to order by a local blacksmith. It is unique due to its size and condition. The last picture shows it next to a roll of paper towel for size comparison.
