Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 4Piece Thick Stock Slot Punch Set – MADE IN THE USA

These are my 4pc Slot Punch Set for THICK Material These slot punches are made from new 5160 spring steel and there are four sizes included in this set: 3/8-inch1/2-inch5/8-inch3/4-inch Each punch is made from 5/8-inch diameter steel and is about 9-inches long! These flat slot punches are used for punching a rectangular hole in stock that is 3/8-inch or thicker. Slot punches are most often used along with an opener and drift to make a round or square hole for mortise and tenon joinery, bottle openers, pass-through, and other common blacksmithing operations. To use these punches, place them on the stock where you wish to punch, hit once, remove the punch, inspect the mark you made, place the punch back on the mark, strike again. Repeat this process, removing the punch from the hole between EVERY hammer blow, until you have punched about 75% of the way through the stock. Flip the stock over and finish punching from that side. Removing the punch between every hammer blow allows you to inspect the hole you are making and make any adjustments to keep the hole straight and centered. It also keeps the punch from overheating and then deforming. You may also use an oil-based coolant to keep your punch from overheating. DO NOT use a water coolant. When used correctly, these punches will provide dependable, long-lasting service. Occasionally redressing the bevels will be necessary. I use these punches every day for punching holes in mild and high carbon alloy steels. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 2.5 Pound CrossPeen Hammer – MADE IN THE USA

These are the Fiery Furnace Stock 2.5 lb Cross Peen Hammers These hammers weigh about 2.5 pounds (actual head weight.) The cheeks are flat forged and lightly buffed to highlight texture, they have square trough lines, and the flat surface behind each face is lightly polished. The handle is top grade American hardwood, kiln dried, custom fit specifically for this hammer, torch burn finished. All of our hammer heads are forged from new 1045 steel, water-quenched, and oven-tempered, for a consistent and long-lasting tool. These hammers are forged by hand, by me, in my shop, in Kentucky, with the use of forges, presses, power hammers, and hand-forging. The cross-peen hammer features two working faces…the flat and the cross-peen face. The flat face can be used for general forging and for smoothing, and it can be tilted so that the edges of the face concentrate your hammer blow for efficiency. The peen side is used for aggressive direction spreading and texturing. My hammer faces are ground with a series of grinding belts, and then finished with medium scotch bright and then buffed. I have made and shipped well over 1900 hammers to blacksmiths and farriers around the globe. My hammers receive excellent feedback time after time again and are the favorite forging tool of many full time and hobbyist smiths alike. If you decide to purchase your next hammer from Fiery Furnace Forge, I am sure you will be completely thrilled with its quality, balance, and performance in your studio. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – Scroll Tongs – MADE IN THE USA

These are the Fiery Furnace Curved Jaw Scroll Tongs Our scroll tongs feature a unique curved-jaw design that allows you to grasp various thicknesses of stock without drastically changing the grip width of the tong handles. This makes your single pair of scroll tongs much more versatile than standard; straight-jaw scroll tongs. All of our tongs are made from new 5160 spring steel. This makes them lighter and stronger than other tongs, which translates into a more comfortable grip and less fatigue on your hand. The overall length of my scroll tongs is approximately 15 inches, and the reigns are a rounded, rectangular profile making them comfortable and not too bulky. All of our tongs are forged to finish, cleaned in a vibratory tumbler, and finished with a dry linseed oil/turpentine mix, rust inhibitor. (Not a greasy or oily finish.) DO NOT QUENCH TONGS! If you heat these tongs up and cool them in water, they will break. It is EXTREMELY bad habit to overheat your tongs. Good habit is to dunk your tongs in water rapidly, IN and back OUT very quickly. This will cool your tongs down slowly and prevent making the material hard and brittle. If you do not understand this process….do not hesitate to ask questions. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – Firepot 10×12-inch For Blacksmithing Forge – USA MADE

Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico Customers,Please see shipping note below! THE FABRICATED BLACKSMITH’S FIREPOT My firepots have been a huge success over the last 5 years that we’ve been offering them for sale. There are literally thousands currently in use from coast to coast, border to border, in the U.S. and World Wide! If you need a new firepot to replace your old cast iron one, if you’re fixing up an old forge, building a new one, or building your first ever forge, this could be the heart and soul of your forge and you will love it! This is the same style and size firepot that I’ve used in my own shop, full time. I have been using it for about 6-7 years now, and love it. In my years of blacksmithing I have used a number of shapes, sizes, and styles of firepots. I have always fabricated my own instead of buying the expensive cast iron pots. Those firepots are running between $300 and $400 nowadays PLUS shipping. Fabricated firepots DO NOT require ANY lining like cast iron forges/pots. Fabricated steel is not susceptible to cracking during temperature changes like cast iron is. So here, for your consideration, is my own fabricated steel firepot. They are made right here in Columbia, Kentucky by me and my helpers in my shop. Here are the specs. The inside dimensions of the pot are approximately 10-inches x 12-inches x 3.5-inches.The firepot is made entirely from 1/2-inch thick, plasma cut plate steel, and is welded inside and out. The lip is 1/4-inch plate steelThis firepot will fit in a forge with a minimum 10.5-inch x 12.25-inch rectangular hole in it. The hole in your forge doesn’t need to be any larger than 11.75-inches x 13.75-inches. My firepots come complete and ready to use with a clinker breaker, weighted ash dump, and air-inlet pipe. The ash dump / air pipe system is one-piece and bolts on to the firepot. (The firepot will come disassembled and will require you to attach the ash dump and clinker breaker with a 9/16-inch socket / wrench.) The ash dump is 11-inches long and 3.5-inches square. It has two tabs on it, which hold the two 3/8-inch bolts to fasten it to the firepot. (Bolts ARE included) It has a weighted ash dump door that permits you to dump coal ashes that are fed through the clinker breaker. The air inlet pipe is 3-inches round (outside diameter,) and is 4.5-inches long. The clinker breaker is made with a piece of 1/2-inch thick plate steel, the same as the firepot, and a 1/2-inch round steel handle. It fits in a slot in the ash dump. The round hole in the bottom of the fire pot is 3-inches in diameter, and the clinker breaker is 2.5 inches in diameter, which leaves a 1/4-inch slot all the way around for air to come into the firepot from your blower. This works quite well. The assembled firepot weighs about 40 pounds. I have used these pots on a daily basis to forge the hammers, punches, and tongs that I sell here on my eBay store. They will give you many years of good service when taken care of properly. The in-use pictures are of my own coal forge in my own shop. The hot billet shown on the anvil is a 2.25-inch diameter, 4.25-inch long, 4.75 pound hammer billet heated up to full forging temperature from 35 degrees in 9 minutes. I am personally using a Dayton 1TDP7 blower and air gate control. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico Customers need to contact me for an accurate shipping quote BEFORE ordering, otherwise a surcharge of $100 extra shipping will be automatically included. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 8Piece Thin Slot Punch & Drift Set – MADE IN AMERICA

These are my 8pc Drift and Slot Punch Sets for THIN Material Punches These slot punches are made from new 5160 spring steel and there are four sizes included in this set. 3/8-inch1/2-inch5/8-inch3/4-inch Each punch is made from 5/8-inch diameter steel and is about 9-inches long! I use these punches every day for punching holes in mild and high carbon alloy steels. Drifts There are four sizes of round drifts included in this set! 3/8-inch opener/drift (approximately 5-inches long)1/2-inch drift (approximately 6-inches long)5/8-inch drift (approximately 6-inches long)3/4-inch drift (approximately 6.5-inches long) All four are made from new, round, 1045 medium carbon steel, stock. The drifts can be cooled in water between drifting heats without harming them so long as the drift temperature is below 800 degrees. (Showing NO dull red color.) If you quench these at too high of a heat, they can harden and break. I decided to use 1045 as it is a bit tougher than low carbon mild steel, and will hold up better, but still allows you to water cool. If the drifts ever bend, you can simply bring them up to a low heat, straighten them with light hammer blows, and allow to air cool. (bending can sometimes occur in the smaller sizes, particularly 3/8-inch if you attempt attempt to force the drift through, allow the drift to overheat, or hit inaccurately.) The drifts are lightly sanded with 60-grit to provide a smooth drifting operation and feature a reverse taper on the struck end so they fall through the stock when you drive the drift. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – Punch Tongs – MADE IN THE USA

These are the Fiery Furnace Punch Tongs This is a style of tongs that I use daily and that I own multiple pairs of. They are designed specifically for holding punches, chisels, touchmarks, and drifts securely as you hammer. This effectively keeps your hand away from hot steel and away from your hammer swing, while also making it easier to see exactly where your tool is located as you strike it. These tongs can be used with any of the punches and chisels I offer and can also be used to hold shorter tooling for work under power hammers. The jaws of these tongs are set up for holding 5/8-inch round and square stock but will also work with tools that are slightly larger or smaller. They can, of course, be altered by heating and bending the jaws to accommodate different sizes. They are about 16 inches long. All of our tongs are made from new 5160 spring steel. This makes them lighter and stronger than other tongs, which translates into a more comfortable grip and less fatigue on your hand. All of my tongs are forged to finish, cleaned in a vibratory tumbler, and finished with a dry linseed oil/turpentine mix, rust inhibitor. (Not a greasy or oily finish.) DO NOT QUENCH TONGS! Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 5 PC Chisel Set – MADE IN THE USA

This is my New 5PC Chisel Set These are my FIVE most commonly used chisels in the shop. All five are made from new, 5/8-inch round, 5160 spring steel, oil hardened and tempered, and sharpened with a 120 grit sanding belt. They are about 9-inches long. The round blade chisel is typically used for general split and chisel chasing work. It can be used for cold layout or hot-work. The flat blade chisel is usually used for getting in tight areas where the round blade chisel won’t quite reach, and it also has some chasing applications. It is also a good choice for top cutting a bar in half. The 90-degree chisel is used for carrying a chiseled line out to the edge of the bar. The very corner of the 90 degree chisel can be used for animal noses and other decorative applications. The Half Round chisel can be used to reach the rounded corners of steel bars or it can be used in a decorative capacity to make rolling hills and other geographical features in steel. The small, semi-rounded chisel is great for getting in the smallest areas where your other chisels just won’t quite reach, and can also be used for chasing tight curves or making short decorative lines. I like to use mine to open up small split crosses. I use these same chisels to make many Decorative designs on my Custom Hammers which can be viewed on my Ebay store! These tools are completely hand made, right here in the good ole USA, by me in my full-time blacksmithing shop. I have been smithing for over 10 years and providing high quality tools to blacksmiths and farriers around the globe for the last five years. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 4Piece Drift Set – MADE IN THE USA

These are my 4pc Drift Sets There are four sizes of round drifts included in this set! A 3/8-inch opener/drift (approximately 5-inches long)A 1/2-inch drift (approximately 6-inches long)A 5/8-inch drift (approximately 6-inches long)And a 3/4-inch drift (approximately 6.5-inches long) All four are made from new, round, 1045 medium carbon steel, stock. I offer a wide and ever growing selection of high-quality hand tools to the blacksmith and farrier communities around the world, so be sure to visit the store frequently for new and unique products! ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 3.5 Pound Rounding Hammer – MADE IN THE USA

This the line of stock Fiery Furnace Forge 3.5-pound rounding hammersOver the years the 3.5-pound rounding hammer has been my overall best-seller, with literally hundreds of them being used as main shop hammers in workshops around the globe, my very own included. The balance, weight, proportion, and feel are unparalleled by any other size for general hand forging applications. This ad is for my standard 3.5-pound rounding hammer. It has flat forged cheeks, square trough lines and is stamped with my touchmark and numbered like all of my hammers. The photos are of my standard 3.5-pound hammer. These hammers are all hand-forged, one-at-a-time, so PLEASE understand there will be some variations. However, we are committed to providing high quality tools and you can purchase with confidence, knowing that there are well over 1400 of my hammers in the hands of happy blacksmiths world-wide. The handle is top grade American hardwood, kiln dried, custom fit specifically for this hammer, torch burn finished. All of my hammer heads are forged from new 1045 steel, water-quenched, and oven-tempered, for a consistent and long-lasting tool. These hammers are forged by hand, by me, in my shop, in Kentucky, with the use of forges, presses, power hammers, and hand-forging. The rounding hammer features two faces…the rounding and the flat face. The rounding face concentrates the force of each hammer blow and allows you to pin-point the exact location of each hammer blow, exactly where it needs to be. The flat side is used to smooth out your work at the end. My hammer faces are ground with a series of grinding belts up to 180 grit and then buffed on a fine buffing wheel for a smooth, clean, even finish. I have made and shipped well over 1900 hammers to blacksmiths and farriers around the globe. My hammers receive excellent feedback time after time again and are the favorite forging tool of many full time and hobbyist smiths alike. If you decide to purchase your next hammer from Fiery Furnace Forge, I am sure you will be completely thrilled with it’s quality, balance, and performance in your studio. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 5Piece Eye Punch Set – MADE IN THE USA

This is my 5pc Eye Punch Set These eye punches are made from new 5/8-inch round 5160 spring steel. They are about 9-inches long each. The set includes all the shapes you see in the pictures. (Note: the square and diamond are different shapes. The diamond is an offset square with abtuse and acute angles whereas the square is actually 90-degrees on each corner.) Diamond Square RoundTeardrop Standard These punches do not get hardened or tempered. They are intended for stamping in hot steel. (Dark cherry red or above) I use these same punches for making production bottle openers and key fobs. Heat treating is not necessary. These punches are the ideal size for making animal heads in 1/4×3/4-inch flat bar up to about 1-inch square. You can use them in smaller and larger stock, and you may prefer different proportions than I do. That’s the size stock I use these punches in though, personally. The sample bar in the photo is NOT INCLUDED and is only intended to give you a better visual of what the punches look like. ________________________________________________________________ Check out the rest of my store! https://www.ebay.com/str/fieryfurnaceforge SHIPPING NOTE: I currently have a 5-business day handling time on this product. Fiery Furnace Blacksmith – 90 Degree Scroll Tongs – MADE IN THE USA

These are my 90 Degree Curved Jaw Scroll Tongs These scroll tongs feature a unique curved-jaw and 90 Degree bend design that allows you to grasp various thicknesses of stock without drastically changing the grip width of the tong handles or the angle of your wrist. This makes your single pair of scroll tongs much more versatile than standard; straight-jaw scroll tongs. All of my tongs are made from new 5160 spring steel. This makes them lighter and stronger than other tongs, which translates into a more comfortable grip and less fatigue on your hand. The overall length of my scroll tongs is approximately 15 inches, and the reigns are a rounded, rectangular profile making them comfortable and not too bulky. All of my tongs are forged to finish, cleaned in a vibratory tumbler, and finished with a dry cosmoline rust inhibitor.
