Fisher and Norris of Trenton N.J. was the first successful Anvil Manufacturer to exist in this country as well as the last of the major anvil manufacturers to stop producing anvils. The Fisher and Norris anvils were manufactured using crystallized iron in the body and a double thick edged face of the best cast tool steel.
