This chisel handle hardwood is very strong and has a wonderful fine grain with beautiful coloring. The chisel blade is ground to 25 degrees with a 5 degree micro bevel of 30 degrees. The first 1/3 of back is flattened it is sharpened and ready to go to work when you receive it. The handle is hand turned from African Paduak and has 6063 T6 Aluminum ferrule and striking ring to reduce damage from mallet blows and is a full 8″ long. The beautiful fit and finish will amaze you. This great framing chisel will make a wonderful addition to your timber framing tool set !
