Block Planes-Offered are two double end block planes of the Stanley No. 30 style-1.1 5/8″ wide cutter marked “Fulton Tool Co”. The 1 5/8″ wide cutter was offered by Stanley starting in l909. Cutter has good length & edge, 7 3/4″ long. Japanning is good.2. 1 5/8″ wide cutter marked “Sargent VBM” with good length. Japanning fair, 7 3/4″long. The cap; iron has been broken or modified to a shorter length making it necessary for a spacer to keep it tight. Seems to function ok in both blade positions. Sole has some rust pit spots.
