A very nice antique G.I. Mix & Co timber framing slick. It is 3″ wide and 30″ long. It will need sharpened for use and the edge has a very small nick in it. Stamped “G.I. Mix & Co. No. 1 EX.”. When applicable, I try to grade the condition of every tool and part objectively using John Walter’s grading system from his “Antique & Collectible Stanley Tools” price guide as described below.

3 CHISEL SLICK SOCKET FRAMING TIMBER WOOD WORKING T.H. WITHERBY G.I. MIX. Came from a local estate. Top one is WITHERBY- Has a 3” edge. Has some initials stamped into it. Has a small nick in the blade. Handle is not secure and pops right out. Middle one is marked but I cant make it out. Edge is 3 3/4”. Has a chunk of missing surface metal. Bottom one is G.I. Mix.
