For a complete description and condition grading, please read the full description before purchasing! Very nice Goodell Pratt No. 111 Spiral Ratchet Screwdriver. Has a screw-type chuck and a shifter to allow for clockwise or counter-clockwise use. Very nice trademark stamp with 1908 patent date. These were originally shipped with 3 bits, but only 1 is with it. No damage anywhere. To remove the bit, switch the shifter to the reverse position which will allow the chuck to turn loose counter-clockwise. For these reasons, I will also try to list a description of these grades in each listing in order to clarify the grade given to each item. No signs of wear or rust – probably never used. No problems or issues. EXCELLENT: 95-99% of original finish remaining. Very slight wear with no rust. No problems or issues. GOOD PLUS: 85-95% of original finish remaining. Used but well maintained. Scuffs, light wear, very little rust. GOOD: 65-85% of original finish remaining. Moderate wear and/or rust. Minor deficiencies – owner’s initials, nicks, etc. GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts. FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper – serious flaws. POOR: 0-25% of original finish remaining. Pitted, abused, heavily worn. Serious damage and missing major parts.
