Very cool vintage (antique?) railroad anvil. Nice patina. It will have rust, pitting, gouges, dirt, etc. It does appear to have a couple letter marks but they are impossible to read. Weighs just under 22lbs. Length of top is 15-11/16” Width on top is 2-5/8” Width of base is 5-3/8” Length of base is 8-5/8”

1920 vintage Billings & Spencer No 53 Ratchet Socket wrench set wooden box CONN.
What a rare find. I just love the antique look of this 100 year old box. Much of the lettering is still intact inside, indicating the box was for aratchet, socket, and wrench set. The box is strong and totally useable as is (I like the history shown in the ‘repairs’, and in the eraant hand writing in the lid.note it is the early cursive style of the early 1900’s!).
