The item is all original with no repairs, but someone did polish the brass a while back.The scale seems to work fine, but I cannot attest to the accuracy. The thread is small in size and diameter, with a small fillet and pitch. This is a vintage Record lock. The bottom is brass, and the loop is iron. It is locked and I do not have a key for it. The lock is 2” wide and about 3” long.
