J M Taber slide arm plow plane with wood thumb screws. 1/2″ Groves & Sons good plow blade. Depth gauge works nicely. John M Taber (1796 – 1873) took over his dad’s New Bedford plane making business in 1820. The maker’s strike if upside down and there are other owners strikes on the plane toe.
