VTG c.1967 K&L Klein-Logan and Woodings-Verona Trade Mark Wood Splitting Wedge

In November 20 1967 Woodings-Verona purchased KL but production from KL continue with tools stamped both marks for short time. For more info look Verona tools history. Both “K Co L” in Shield mark and WV mark are nice. The wedge butt was restored and partially sharpened. It has excellent temper, ready for next half of century work. See detailed pictures.

Antique 2.5lb Klein Logan miner’s pick in fair condition. Tool shows considerable wear (heavy pitting/oxidation/etc). Pick is still sound and solid. It could probably be cleaned up quite a bit but the pitting is likely permanent.

Came from a local estate. Weigh is just shy of 5 pounds. Doesn’t look like it had much use. Has an overall rusty patina as shown. Total length is approx. 9″ with the cutting edge being approx. 2″. Marked as shown in the different photos. Plenty of use left in this tool.
