This belonged to my grandad who was a surveyor & foreman on building sites after WW2. It was found in his attic loft while having a tidy out a few years ago. In really nice condition for its age, signs of wear & use as you would expect.

Antique 50′ Tape Measure George M Eddy & Co Brooklyn NY Leather Case Brass 1900s
The tape pulls out to full 50 ft length and rewinds properly. Numbers remain legible though darkened with age. The leather case shows expected wear and surface cracking but remains intact with good stitching.
