Japanning shows significant wear and loss as expected for a heavily used tool of this age — no cracks, breaks, or repairs to the casting. Throat adjustment and blade depth mechanism work. Includes knob and screw. This is off a Stanley No.4 Bed Rock jack plane Type 1 1898. Has the bead detail at the base as was done on early Stanley planes. Has some patina, paint splatter, minor dings, but is solid with no cracks or chip outs

STANLEY 62 LOW ANGLE PLANE 1909 EXTRA BLADE

The Stanley 62 plane was made between 1905-42. Judging by the cutter this was probably made in 1909. All finishes appear to be original. The lever cap is a little darker than it appears in the pictures.
