Gas Metal Melting Furnace is used to melt brass, gold, silver, copper, aluminum, zinc, tin and other metals with melting points below 1450 ° C(2642° F). Suitable for most fuels, liquefied gas，LPG, propane, etc. Many other people’s single burner furnace has a problem, the flame can only heat one side of crucible strongly ,especially if you use a 10KG big size crucible, the flame can only reach to 1/3 or 1/2 wall of the crucible, the opposite side has no flame. So we often saw that some part of metal in crucible has been melted, but some other part is not yet. It means you need longer time and more gas to melt whole pot of metal, my dual burner solved this problem by heating 2 sides of crucible at the same time, it can save 50% time and 20% gas cost. As we know, 40%–70% gas energy is actually escaping in heating process, that is big waste . So if you melt fast, you save more propane cost. You only need a propane gas bottle/tank ( like 20,30 or 50 LB ).1. But our bell shape burner head can be changed because it is connected by thread, you can buy replacement in local shop cheap and easily .4. You also can use only one burner by shut off the valve ,and block one hole on furnace body with my additional ceramic wool. Kind remind： 1. Do not use it to melt iron, that will shorten the life of the furnace. 2. Graphite crucible is consumable, you can change a new one according to your requirement. 3. Use safety goggles, mask as well as gloves while casting metals.4. The ceramic insulation blanket is not asbestos. Asbestos has been forbidden many years ago. 5. The jaw of our lifting and pouring tongs may be not perfectly fit with your crucible. That is normal,because diameter of crucible in market is different from 6–7 in. You need to hammer it by yourself to correct the tongs, it is easy with only 5 minutes to hanmer my tong to use on 8,10 or 15 KG crucible. If you forge the ring to red hot status, then it will be more easier to hammer the ring. It is made from heavy duty steel. It has a 6 inch inner diameter ring can hold 10 kg graphite crucible. Total Length is around 24” ( 60cm). One person can handle this tong, no need other people’s help. Attention please: The jaw of our lifting and pouring tongs may be bend or out of round shape because of manufacture and shipping mistakes, it may be smaller or larger than your crucible ( not perfectly fit with your crucible). That is normal. You need to hammer it by yourself to correct the ring, need only several minutes to correct shape. If you forge the ring to red hot status, then it will be more easier to hammer the ring.
