Antique Mayhew Monarch No. 808 MINI Flathead Screwdriver Wood Beehive Handle

Good shape for the most part, wood is not all dried out, has nice patina too it albeit with a couple small paint splatters. Original wood finish has nice reddish hue. The ferrule appears to be dezincified brass (reddish like copper) with most of its nickel plating gone. The ferrule is on tight but not as flush as it should be. The shaft has rust and pitting but original steel sheen still shines through in a few places and the Diamond shaped “MAYHEW” logo is still just-legible. The head / blade / tip is still fairly sharply defined. Tool didn’t actually see a lot of use, just moisture in the air and probably lots of hand-handling in admiration.
