There’s a lot to read here and I would suggest you read it all before purchasing anything. ALL KEYS CUT BY CODE ARE NOT GUARANTEED UNLESS I HAVE THE LOCK IN HAND! This is due to many different variables: 1. Wear and tear of the wards, pin tumblers or wafer tumblers inside the lock.2. Sometimes the code on lock or key regardless of where it is stamped could be wrong.3. A written code on documentation could be wrong.4. The code could be right but those entering the cuts, in the code software to convert the code to cuts, could have been entered wrong. 5. The lock could have been rekeyed therefore being different then the original code. NO REFUNDS FOR KEYS CUT BY CODE THAT DON’T WORK! This is a known “standard” among locksmithS across the board. This service is for those who’s local locksmith can’t or won’t take the time to make a key for your lock.This is how this Locksmith Service works.This auction is for cutting two standard non-transponder, non-high security keys to a code that YOU send me through text, messenger, or Facebook questions. Meaning you don’t have any keys and wish for one to be made by code.A code is a series of numbers or letters or a combination of both stamped, written, or engraved on the bike, paper, key, key tags, or original paper work by the manufacturer that a locksmith can convert to the actual cuts for cutting the key. Please refer below as to where motorcycle key codes are found on different makes of motorcycles. You will need to write down any important information that you may have concerning your motorcycle lock or locks. Such as codes, make, model, function, name of what it is on or in, etc.Once I get the code and information, I will cut the keys and mail them to you at your expense. Thanks.  Location of Motorcycle Key Codes Most all original keys or locks have a number stamped on it like 5JSB04, C36212, or 8057.Those numbers/letters are called key codes. Finding the key code can be a challenge sometimes.A key code can be stamped on the keys, sometimes on the lock, sometimes it’s not on the motorcycle at all.Sometimes it’s in the owner’s manual or on other documents that would have been provided to the original owner. Keep in mind that keys often have other numbers besides codes on them, locks have part numbers on them that have nothing to do with the code, and just because someone wrote a number down in the manual doesn’t mean it’s the key code. Here’s a few suggestions as to where your key code may be on a few motorcycles listed below. Where to find your Code Number ? Honda: Honda placed code numbers on almost all of its lock cylinders. Where to look: -Under the gas cap. -On the black plastic housing on the butt end of the Ignition cylinder (close to where the harness meets the cylinder). Hint: use a small mirror and a flashlight. -Stamped on the back side of the Helmet lock. Removal is generally very easy. -Stamped on the seat lock. Your code number will be a 3 to 8 digit alpha numeric (letters and numbers) code. Yamaha: Where to look: -Paper tag under Ignition housing. -Stamped on the back side of the Helmet lock. Removal is generally very easy. -Seat lock Note: My Locksmith code books says that there were no codes on Yamaha past 1990, but you can still find codes on over half the 1990 and up bikes. No codes? Call dealer with VIN to obtain code. Your code will be a letter followed by 5 numbers–or a 4 digit number. Suzuki: Where to look: -Under Ignition housing. -Stamped on the back side of the Helmet lock. Removal is generally very easy -Seat lock Note: My Locksmith code books says that there were no codes on Suzuki motorcycles, but you can still find codes on over half the bikes. No codes? Call dealer with VIN to obtain code. Kawasaki: Where to look: -On Ignition housing. -Stamped on the back side of the Helmet lock. Removal is generally very easy -Seat lock–Fork lock housing. -Call dealer with VIN to obtain code.
