Stanley Plane Hardwood Knob For No. 3, 4, & 5-1/4 Type 17 WWII Era 1942-1945

A solid original hardwood knob and screw for a type 17 Stanley smoothing plane (1942-1945). It was salvaged from a No. 4 but is the correct size for a No. 3 and No. 5-14 as well. When applicable, I try to grade the condition of every tool and part objectively using John Walter’s grading system from his “Antique & Collectible Stanley Tools” price guide as described below.
