Vtg None Better S40 1/2″ ratchet, late 1930s, vg condition
There is one oddity – a groove cut in the handle just above the knurled part (see pics). It doesn’t impair functionality at all, and isn’t deep enough to weaken the handle. Why it was made – who knows?.
