H DISSTON & SON split nut No 12 panel saw circa 1865-71 no wheat carving

I’ve heard others like it exist but I have never seen another in hand. The etch is deep but not dark, hard to get a good picture as the smooth plate reflects in a drastic way. The wear pattern in the finish shows right where the mans finger sat when he ran it, wonder how many hours that would take?.

Antique H. Disston & Sons Panel Saw No. 7 1896-1917

H. Disston & Sons No. 7 antique panel saw. It is the first original saw produced by Disston & Sons between 1840-1928. In 1928 it was replaced by D-7. The medallion on this saw dates it to between 1896-1917. It is made with high carbon steel and sports a beech handle with 3 sawnuts. It is sturdy and with plenty of life left if you want to put it back to work. It is an estate find and in the same condition as found. Please refer to pictures for additional condition details. H DISSTON & SON 18″ panel saw circa 1890s Super RARE Two Piece Medallion.. A #12 or #7 Disston panel saw 11 tpi crosscut with very rare two piece medallion center. Three screw total short panel saw with NIB. Would need resharpened if to use. A rare handle and screw and medallion and length not normally seen from Disston.

SIMONDS No. 10 PANEL SAW 24″ 12ppi

The nib is missing and there is a slight S-curve in the last half the blade. No kinks and nothing as drastic as an S but it bows both directions. The plate is smooth and free from dents, I think a good saw Dr. could make this a top notch finish saw.
