The set looks nice and probably was never used. Very nice collector set. The only issue is the drive swivel snug is locked. I can’t get it to move. Also, one of the handles for the wrench. The gold part is worn off.

1920 vintage Billings & Spencer No 53 Ratchet Socket wrench set wooden box CONN.
What a rare find. I just love the antique look of this 100 year old box. Much of the lettering is still intact inside, indicating the box was for aratchet, socket, and wrench set. The box is strong and totally useable as is (I like the history shown in the ‘repairs’, and in the eraant hand writing in the lid.note it is the early cursive style of the early 1900’s!).
