John Roebling Son’s Wire Rope Strength Chart Brass And Wood

Here is a very old and rare John Roebling Son’s brass and wood tool and chart showing the comparison of strength of steel elevator rope to iron elevator rope on the back side. On the front side is advertising and a sliding 4″ ruler. There are incised marks; one on front is DIA and another is W.R.M.(I assume this is the owner of this particular tool). On the back side is CIR. I do not know what these other 2 marks are for. One side edge is incised Kerby & Bro. N.Y.( presumably the makers of this tool). Overall the tool is in very good condition.
