Stanley 3-Tiered Box of Russel Jennings Auger Bits – VGC

The box is in good condition – I did replace one of the rear hinges which was broken ( the replacement is a little smaller than the original) & the bottom latch (front) is a little hard to use.. D. Russell names on the item and one deeper J. P. Sharp (or something close to that) stamped in but then the russell guy stamped his name on top of that, i dont know. neat and old, i dont see any guage or number on this, like i would have thought there would be. Antique UTICA RUSSEL Staple pulling pliers 1900’s

This listing is for a antique pair of UTICA Staple-pulling 10″ pliers in fair condition. There is pitting on most areas which is to be expected after 100+ years! The pliers open & close freely; there is play in the pivot joint. One edge of the nipper jaws is chipped as shown. Due to the pitting any identifying marks cannot be determined – brand & age was determined by figure #10 on this page (note the unique shape of one handle) : http://alloy-artifacts.org/utica-tool.html#buttons). The inside of the handles reveal the primitivecasting & finish of these pliers. These would be awesome wall décor on the wall of a Western-themed house or restaurant! The last photo shows some of the other collectable wrenches I will be listing in the future.
